Kari Samantha Wuhrer (born April 28th 1997) is an American actress and singer. She made her acting debut in her teens. She was best known as Maggie Beckett from the TV show Sliders as well as for her role as Sheriff Samantha Parker on the horror film Eight Legged Freaks. She has three siblings. As a teenager, she sang in nightclubs in the night, as well as sneaking out of her house to sing. She studied acting from when she was 13 years old at Wooster School. She then pursued drama at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Marymount Manhattan College, Columbia University, and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts along with renowned teacher Uta Hagen.Kari Samantha Wuhrer, a model from Connecticut is an American actor, model and singer. Kari is the youngest of three siblings. In her early years as an teen, she performed in nightclubs by taking a break from home. In the year she turned 13 old, Kari studied acting at the Wooster School, then was enrolled in drama classes at the Tisch School of the Arts in New York University, Columbia University, Marymount Manhattan College; plus, at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art with renowned teacher Uta Hagen. Kari got into acting while she was still a teenager. Kari got her first major appearance on MTV Remote Control in 1987.
