Lisa Edelstein has been an American actress for a total of 20 years. She is most well-known for her role as a character in House which airs on Fox. She was raised in Wayne where she was a part of a traditional Jewish tradition. As a teenager, 18, she moved into New York City to study at the Tisch School for the Arts. However, very quickly she began to be active in the club scene, and was able to make enough headlines that she was noticed by the press, simultaneously, she became conscious of the devastating effects of AIDS. Then, she used her experience and fame and her own education to write and host a television show titled Positive Me. The first time she was hired, she got her first position at MTV as the anchor of Awake on The Wild Side shortly after. Following the end of the series the show, she began appearing on the film and television industry, beginning with small parts, but gradually establishing her place as an actor.
