Amber Benson bio

Amber Benson is a talented American actress who has worked as a writer, singer, director and producer. Her most famous role is as Tara Maclay, in the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Additionally, she's produced, directed and performed in her own film Chance & Lovers Liars & Lunatics. Benson also appeared in the movie Kiss the Bride. Benson was the youngest of children born to Edward Benson and Diane Benson. She was born in Birmingham, Alabama on the 8th of January 1977. Danielle is her older sister who is also an artist. Her father is Jewish as is her mom. She was raised Southern Baptist Benson grew up at a Reform synagogue in Alabama. Benson started appearing in different films like The Killing Jar. Benson has also been featured in TV shows like Morganville The Series. She also used her skills as a scriptwriter on The Ghosts of Albion Series and directed Drones in 2010. Buffy believes that there are at most 1800 Slayers are in existence, and 500 of them are members of the Scooby Gang. Slayers may be awakened when the potentials reach an appropriate level of age. Soledad, for example was awakened on her 16th birthday. Ruth Connell is set to be the character Rowena in Season 10 of Supernatural. It is believed that Rowena was a witch of the ancient past.
